Tough one to take today. Our winning streak has come to an end after a loss against Preston.
After a slow first half, we found ourselves 2-1 down at halftime.
We asked the lads for a reaction and they were unplayable for the first 20 minutes of the second half. We brought it back and it was 2-2. We dominated possession but got caught on the break. That’s the risk you take when you play high and have a go at teams. However the attitude epitomised this set of boys. They never gave in and backed each other all the way.
That is our last league game and we are proud to say that we have finished top of the league which is a great achievement.
However this is only the start.
The semi finals will be our next competitive game.
