An intense and chaotic 1st half between the two sides but with Blackburn creating the most chance. The half ended 1-1. The second half started in the same fashion but with Preston going ahead after a few minutes via a cross into the box and their sticker following up. Despite a tremendous team effort, BWD didn’t manage to take their chances. Despite conceding a further two goals, the team persevered and finished the game strong with further chances but were unlucky not to convert. Many lessons learnt today which the team will benefit from moving forwards!
